    I think the quote ,by Alan Paton, “When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive.” is meaningful because It explains to us that when we are hurt we can never be better again until we let that pain and anger go. An example of this is a story that happened in florida about a drunk driver. This man was driving at night when he hit and killed two women in their 20s he was charged 22 years in prison. The mother of the girls who were killed spoke to the judge and convinced to cut the man’s time in half because she believed that being angry forever would have done no-one good so she decided to forgive him.
